Strangely by now I have more than 20 paint studies under my belt but this year has been very different to where I have not been able to do plein air painting at all. After many failed attempts, to jump start the art I made a venture to a new lighthouse of which I have never painted before. It was a painful recovery but I managed to rip off the bandages, face the dragon and battle my way through this 9x12 study.
